Is It This?
AI Disclosure
AI can help evaluate custom questions, but it is not the sole source of the game’s structured facts.
Where AI is used
When configured, a server-side OpenAI model evaluates custom questions that cannot be mapped to a structured editorial attribute. The model returns one of the allowed game responses and a short neutral explanation.
Where structured data is used
Suggested questions are evaluated from editorial answer attributes and exceptions first. The model is not needed for those deterministic clues.
Limits and safeguards
Custom questions are treated as untrusted input. The server screens them, constrains the model output with a schema, excludes the hidden name and aliases from the model context, and treats failures as Not Applicable. Automated responses can still be imperfect.
Editorial content
Public facts are supported by source records and editorial review. AI-generated text is not treated as a source.
